Lucia is 4 months old

Baby Lucia is growing so fast! She is now rolling over (mostly back to front!). She can hold her head steady, and we have a baby jumper on the way for her to play in. She has definitely graduated from newborn to settled baby. She has fussy days, but most days she sits quietly, eats, sleeps, and a nice, lovely addition to our boisterous family. During the night she sleeps next to mama, so she basically sleeps through about 12 hours with a few feeds throughout the night (which neither mom or baby actively wake up for). During the day her naps are getting a bit longer and more consolidated. She can stay awake between 1 and 2 hours between naps and her naps last between 45 and 80 minutes or so. We are really enjoying her babyhood, and her sisters adore her!! Just last night both Isa and Viv carried Lucia in their arms (with guidance) and were thrilled by being able to do that!

Vivian is slightly heavier than she is tall, and this kid is a total powerhouse. She is strong, and recently learned the definition of the word independent, and prides herself on being able to accomplish most tasks alone (or at least she will try doing it by herself first!). She loves to ride her little balance bike (her chivita), and she is very active. She is fascinated by plants and has a few of her own that she cares for. She has been going to several after school workshops with Isa, one at my friend Vero's house, and another cooking class (she loves too cook and bake -- even though we try not to eat wheat!). Two days a week she goes to a friend's house who is her same age to give her parents some time to get some work done with only (!) an infant to care for. She is a true Leo -- when she is mad she is the most mad, when she is sad she is the most sad, when she's determined no one can stop her, and when she is happy she is the happiest kid you'll ever meet.

Isabel is 7!

Slightly taller than she is heavy, she is a big, strong kid all around. She loves to sing, and has asked us to start posting videos of her signing along to Patrick playing guitar. She loves theater, play, and all things creative. She is back in a normal school day at her school here in Uruguay, which is 10 am to 3 pm. Her birthday party this year was at the beach Playa Los Pinos with a jumpy castle, pinata, special cake, and she got a real silver locket for her golden birthday from Pandora! Isa is a total sweetheart, and an incredibly adoring sister. She is the first one, when a conflict arises, to try to find a solution, to apologize, or to be generous in giving up anything she has to appease someone else (usually vivian!). She is learning to play on her own very well, sometimes with hours passing playing make believe and inventing fantasy worlds with her sister. Her drawing skills and creativity in expression are very impressive. She is a kid who doesn't sit still, she is always on the move! This can be difficult for her at school, but luckily her teacher is flexible to her needs to move around.
